Cai Qi emphasizes creating a better environment for enterprises in Zhongguancun
Cai Qi, party secretary of Beijing municipal government visited Beijing ByteDance Technology and Beijing Questyle Audio Technology for investigation and surveys on Monday.
Cai stressed that the most representative companies in Beijing are Zhongguancun enterprises and other private technology companies.
"Party committees and governments at all levels should pay regular visits to such enterprises, deliver them 'service packages' to provide one-to-one services," Cai noted.
Toutiao or Jinri Toutiao launched by ByteDance Technology is the largest artificial intelligence information distribution platform in China. The number of monthly active users of Douyin (short video product) has exceeded 450 million by now.
In the artificial intelligence laboratory, Cai Qi looked into the information recommendation technology and machine translation technology of ByteDance. Zhang Yiming, founder and CEO of the company, introduced their focus on R&D, continuous innovation and new breakthroughs.

Cai Qi pointed out, the new generation of Zhongguancun enterprises has stronger explosive power. ByteDance Technology should adhere to innovation development, increase R&D investment in big data, artificial intelligence and other fields, improve core competitiveness, actively explore international businesses and strive to become the most successful Chinese Internet company in regards to globalization.
Questyle Audio Technology has made great efforts in independent research and development in artificial intelligence, and has obtained over 440 domestic and international artificial intelligence patents. The state-of-the-art face recognition technology developed by the company has been rated as one of the world's top 10 breakthrough technologies in 2017.
Cai Qi examined such technology demonstrations as skyeye system and "urban brain". Yin Qi, co-founder and CEO of the company introduced how the company promotes the innovation of artificial intelligence technologies and its business operations.

At the symposium, Cai Qi emphasized that all levels and departments should continue to optimize the business environment and put policies into effect. The city should support enterprises to achieve more breakthroughs in original innovation, and cultivate more unicorn companies and hidden-champion enterprises. In response to the development needs and problems of the enterprises, relevant departments should make policy researches and solve them one by one.
