The ground of the park is paved with permeable bricks, which allow rainwater to permeate into the ground quickly, not only to replenish soil water and groundwater, but also to reduce drainage and flood control pressure in the park. Embedded among the high buildings, large or small, rain gardens are designed to gather and absorb rainwater from the roof or the ground.
The rainwater is purified through the combined action of plants and sand, and gradually gets absorbed into the soil. It is used to conserve groundwater or to supplement water for parks such as landscape water and toilet water. In a more advanced measure, the park also employs a rainwater storage mechanism to store the rain at the peak of rain, and then slowly discharge it after the maximum flow rate drops.

Through the use of these “black technologies”, the park saves about 20% of energy every year, and saves about 1,200 tons of rainwater every year.
