Innovation week kicks off across China

China's 2019 National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week commenced Thursday.

Hangzhou will serve as the event's main venue this year, after previous hosts Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu.

Simultaneous events were also held in other Chinese cities such as Beijing and Guangdong province's Shenzhen.
