AsiaInfo Technologies Limited (known as AsiaInfo, stock code: 1675.HK) released its performance data for  the first half of 2020 (unaudited) on Aug 17, 2020.

In the first half of 2020, due to the epidemic, the company's orders decreased and projects slowed down.

However, driven by the rapid development of new businesses, the company's operating income reached approximately 2.50 billion yuan ($ 361.59 million), a year-on-year increase of 1 percent; revenue of DSaaS business was approximately 105.8 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 90.7 percent; and net profit was approximately 232.6 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 228.8 percent.

In the first half of 2020, the company consolidated its leading position in the BSS service market, and developed its 5G services. As of June 30, 2020, it was serving 262 telecom operators, a year-on-year increase of 16.4 percent, and the customer retention rate was maintained at 99 percent.

In terms of OSS business, the company promoted business integration in multiple fields, innovated  intelligent 5G products, and expanded it 5G OSS business while optimizing 5G network for operators.

The company's DSaaS business has increased by more than 90 percent, and exceeds 100 million yuan. As of June 30, 2020, the revenue of the DSaaS business was approximately 105.8 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 90.7 percent.

The company has developed vertical industries and cloud services. In the first half of 2020, it moved into strategic vertical industries such as finance, energy, transportation, government affairs, and postal services, and offered products and services such as customer relationship management (CRM), data management, DevOps, and a cloud management service provider (cloud MSP).

The company has issued multiple products in the B&O domain, such as an enterprise-level full-stack multi-cloud management platform-based cloud-network integration product system, a data science product system covering global intelligent operation and maintenance platforms, knowledge graph management tools, robotic process automation platforms, and 5G urban digital twin platforms as well as a business support product system covering enterprise-level GIS platforms, 3D visualization products and other products.

It also developed cloud MSP products, services, and solutions for vertical industries, and promoted a cloud MSP strategy.
