The "AI+" Invitational Final Debate Competition of the Global Youth Turing Program was held on Sept 5 in the Cultural Science and Technology Park of Renmin University of China.
The debate team of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China won the championship, and Huang Yichen was named the best debater. The event was broadcast on CCTV, Bilibili, and Baidu, with more than 122,000 online viewers. Meanwhile, thousands of viewers raised challenging questions and participated in the interactions.
Twelve debate teams from China, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and elsewhere participated in the event. They debated forward-looking topics in the fields of "AI+", education, and art. The judges of the event include experts in debate and industry leaders in artificial intelligence and education.
The event is committed to discovering, cultivating, and tracking middle school students worldwide who show a special talent in technological innovation and application.
