Zhongguancun Software Park has been hosting a new cross-border "Technology to the North" event themed on technology + culture + music + sports + e-sports since September.

The 5G Smart Park Scenario Competition was eye-catching: a passionate "5G Innovation Application Contest Smart Park Scenario Competition" focusing on 5G+ unmanned driving, 5G+ unmanned distribution, and 5G+ park security was staged in Zhongguancun Software Park. 

Driverless cars shuttled back and forth, and intelligent robots interacted enthusiastically.

Seize the opportunity of 5G so that cutting-edge technology can lead innovation and development

The 5G Smart Park Scenario Competition is one of the main tracks of the 2020 Zhongguancun 5G Innovation Application Competition. 

It showcases unmanned driving, distribution and detection, navigational fire extinguishing bombs and other park safety and future innovations. In doing so it takes full advantage of 5G's technical advantages such as high speed, large capacity, low latency and high reliability.

At the scene of the smart park scene competition, driverless cars developed by companies such as Superstar Future, Auto Bay Rui, Qingyan Hongda, Baidu, Zhixingzhe and Miwen Power not only performed static displays but also participated in the "Super Car Brain Challenge". 

The challenge is divided into six parts: automatic start, identification of traffic lights, awareness of pedestrians at zebra crossings, obstacle avoidance, roadside parking, and parking and storage. Participating vehicles are judged on the spot by professionals.

Meanwhile, an unmanned distribution exhibition area was also set up at the event site. 

U0C full-scenario unmanned distribution robots, "real machine little yellow horse" instant distribution robots, and other robotic devices all appeared, demonstrating superior performance. 

In addition, many robot participation links were set up throughout the competition for functions such as welcoming and providing explanations and similar robot services.

Integrate innovation to create a new ecology of smart parks

Zhongguancun Software Park continues to advance construction of smart parks, building smart application scenarios featuring smart traffic management systems and applying AI technology to building smart runways, smart navigation systems and unmanned driving experience areas.

In order to improve its intelligent management level, Zhongguancun Software Park has fully deployed a 5G network and cooperated with well-known companies such as Baidu and Didi to create unmanned driving and vehicle-road collaborative application experience scenarios, giving it a high-tech atmosphere.

Furthermore, the park has also opened a 4D+VR simulated driving experience zone, where you can experience real driving scenes in the simulated driving experience cabin, which will help the commercialization of 5G technology and provide a different kind of experience for enterprises and employees.
