Since the release of the "ChainMaker", the first domestically controllable blockchain software and hardware technology system, and the establishment of the ChainMaker Ecological Alliance on Jan 27, 2021, central enterprises, financial institutions, leading enterprises, and scientific research institutions have been promoting technical iterations of the ChainMaker and accelerating its implementation in key application scenarios.

The ChainMaker Major Achievement Conference was held in Beijing on June 10.

At the meeting, with approval of the original 27 members, the ChainMaker Ecological Alliance added 23 large-scale enterprise members, released the world’s first 96-core blockchain dedicated acceleration chip, formed the "ChainMaker·Collaboration Network", and launched application scenarios such as food security, material procurement, medical and health, and 5G information and communication.

"ChainMaker" is the first independent and controllable blockchain software and hardware technology system in China, with the characteristics of full independence, high performance, strong privacy, and wide collaboration.

Representatives of 23 institutions, including Sinopec, China Telecom, China Electronics, Sinomach, Aluminum Corporation of China, China COSCO, and the Bank of China, signed a collective agreement to announce their participation in the ChainMaker Ecological Alliance and to commit to jointly building the ChainMaker Ecosystem.

As representatives of the alliance members, COFCO, China Huadian Corporation, China General Technology Group, and China Unicom Group respectively released key application scenarios for the ChainMaker.

Membership in the alliance has now reached 50, including 27 central enterprises and 28 Fortune 500 companies. Some of the 27 original entities that initiated the ChainMaker Ecological Alliance in January are State Grid, China Construction Bank, the Central Bank Mathematics Research Institute, Tencent, and the Chipset Research Institute.

To support the operation of the ChainMaker Cooperative Network, the construction of a world-leading blockchain advanced computing power platform has been launched in the North District of Zhongguancun Science City.

The platform has more than 200,000 blockchain computing units.

After the completion of the blockchain computing platform, it can support the operation of an ultra-large-scale blockchain network with more than 1 million nodes and a peak transaction value of more than 1 million transactions per second.

Since its release in early 2021, the ChainMaker ecosystem has gathered 50 alliance members as key scenario builders, more than 20 ChainMaker hardware ecosystem partners, over 100 application developers, and more than 10,000 open source community members to promote its application in over 200 scenarios.
